Reading vs Tech

Honestly while reading this extremely long passage this week it honestly doesn’t feel right calling it that but it just made me think of the effect phones and technology has had on our life. Honestly 17 pages wouldn’t be long to a person who loves reading or my grandparents who had to read to get any bit of information that was going on in the world now if I wanna know something I can quickly find a video on it, I can say though I like reading usually when it has something that peaks my interest usually history or something other worldly but other than that I’m very much not interested but if it is required I will read it but usually that makes me get to the point where I’m thinking anything seems better than reading at this point. I feel like most people my age only read if they have to I mean we have everything at our finger tips this day in age it’s not the worst thing but I would say that reading helps increase the vocabulary and helps out with spelling and reading and writing in general honestly I would like to get into reading more I feel like a balance of reading and watching videos would be great and expose me to more knowledge sometimes u find things in books u can’t find in a video or movie. Reading also helps improve your vocabulary and spelling I think there are a lot of positive with reading especially if u are young I think it helps out a lot with imagination and making you think but I know the direction the world is going that reading won’t be the most popular thing but reading will always have it’s place in a successful educated society and I think people will find there balance of reading and listening to it on the web only time will tell tho.
